CBD Dispensary Ripoff?

I want to tell you about a common story regarding a CBD dispensary ripoff but first let me give you some back information. In Florida, medical marijuana dispensaries are popping up in every city, at least in Tampa Bay. You cannot just walk in off the streets and become a customer. You have to go to a certified physician that has paid the state one thousand dollars and completed a course. These physicians, once certified can accept patients and recommend products with and without THC. Currently there are only a small list of patients that even qualify medically according to the state. Before a doctor’s recommendation for medical marijuana can be made the hopeful patient must be a patient for at least three months and pay hundreds of dollars before being entered into the states registry. Sometimes they must also pay monthly fees because there is a tremendous amount of paperwork and data entry for the physician and staff. Once the patient is entered they qualify to buy products from a dispensary. These dispensaries concentrate on products with THC, because they can, but there are some products with very low levels and even zero levels of THC. These products are labeled as CBD oils, etc. This provides an option for patients who do not want to get high or who don’t need the THC to receive the relief they are seeking. In addition, patients can also take low THC high CBD products to help calm or even mitigate the negative effects of THC.

Buyer Beware

I have spoken to many dispensary patients and what I have found is there are both good and bad reviews. Sometimes the dispensaries are so busy customer’s are just looking for someone who is knowledgeable to speak with. This has been the case more out of state than what I have found in Florida. I have found the dispensary folks here are well versed, but the customer often doesn’t know what to ask. Or they do not understand how to evaluate the information. It is a very confusing marketplace.

For example, I met with a man yesterday who paid $70 for a 1oz bottle of what he thought was CBD oil. Turns out it’s coconut oil referred to as MCT oil and 1.4% CBD per bottle. Yikes! That’s some expensive coconut oil! Plus the CBD is not full spectrum, it is CBD only. Full spectrum means there are also more than 80 other cannabinoids present in the oil which has proven to offer medicinal benefits. CBD alone, often called CBD isolate, can also be effective but normally in higher doses and again it’s just more effective when it’s fellow cannabinoids are present. So not only is there virtually no chance in hell that this product will help this poor patient find any relief but it’s expensive! Here’s the sad part, the patient assumes because “they” are the experts that 1.4% is okay. The bottle also stated it had 0% THC. Online that product states it comes with up to 15mg of THC, but his bottle had zero. I even called using his patient number to verify what I read was correct. The bottle says it’s 500mg CBD. This could not be any further from the truth. It is not 500 mg of CBD. The bottle says one serving equals one drop and each drop equals 1 mg, so yes it has 500 drops or 500 mg in the bottle but of those 500 drops only 1.4% is CBD.  That hurts my head to do the math but that is virtually NO CBD!!!! So why buy this “CBD oil” from the dispensary? Why pay hundreds of dollars to see a doctor and get on a registry to buy coconut oil with trace amounts of CBD isolate? If I sound a little bothered you are correct. Patients are getting ripped off at some, not all of the dispensaries and they don’t even know it.

Do you need a dispensary?

The dispensary is currently the only legal outlet to buy products with THC, so if you have done your research and you believe you need a product with THC to help you then by all means follow the process. However, I challenge you to first try a full spectrum CBD oil. Yes, I sell this product, but I sell it is because I am passionate about it and because I hear the life changing stories on a daily basis. In MANY cases patients can find medicinal benefits by taking a high quality, full spectrum CBD oil. Try that first, then if you feel you need something more go through the steps to get into the database and experiment with THC. However, I highly recommend first experimenting with full spectrum CBD.

First experiment with full spectrum CBD.

Full Spectrum Hemp OilOur bodies interact with cannabinoids differently. It is not based on weight, so I challenge you to try a high quality full spectrum CBD oil first and experiment with dosing. Some people take two drops and others take a full dropper full to achieve the same result. Here’s the beauty of this product, you can not overdose, there are no side effects, no drug interactions and no deaths ever reported from CBD or THC for that matter. So our physicians recommend experimenting to find the right dose for you, you can increase the dose as needed to achieve desired results.

THC and CBD a winning combination?

Here’s the irony, we have some patients who are very happy with their dispensary products, but again called us because they needed someone to help them. We offer suggestions based on our research and patient testimonies primarily. Although we consult with physicians, we are not doctors and we always make sure our customers know that. We have found that our product often compliments a THC/CBD product. For example, one customer was taking a product with 13 mg of THC and 13 mg of CBD. This is by memory but I believe that was the amount. She was a sweet elderly woman from Georgia and she said it just wasn’t working and she did not want to take more because she did not want to get high. So, I recommended she try increasing the CBD and other cannabinoids by buying our 750mg full spectrum oil. This way she was increasing only the “good” cannabinoids. To both of our delight she called back after just three days of use and said she is not only pain free but she is sleeping better than she had in 13 years. So, I would say THC and CBD can be a winning combination. It’s all about finding what works for you. But please, know what you are taking and don’t pay $70 for coconut oil.

What to look for when you buy CBD oil

What to look for when you buy CBD oil

CBD oil from a reliable sourceWhat to look for when you buy CBD oil

It can be very confusing, so this article is designed to help you know what to look for when you buy CBD oil. First of all, when you are shopping for CBD oil you want to know the difference between the cannabis oils available online. Next, we will also explain why there is confusion and how to make the best choice for the results you are seeking.

Difference between cannabis oils

In order to understand the different oils you must first understand the different types of cannabis they are extracted from. First of all, cannabis with high levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is called marijuana. THC is the molecule that will make you “high”. Oil from this plant is often called cannabis or marijuana oil and it is illegal in most states. Some states have legalized its use but users need to follow the states laws in order to obtain it. Secondly, the cannabis plant that is grown to have high levels of cannabidiol (CBD) and low levels of THC, below .3% is called hemp. Oils extracted from hemp are often called hemp oil or CBD oil. Oil extracted from the hemp seeds, normally called hemp seed oil, does not contain CBD or THC but it does contain Omega Fatty Acids and other nutritious ingredients. But you have to be careful because some retailers are selling the seed oil as hemp oil which can be confusing. Is it hemp seed oil or hemp oil? This is why you have to not only read the label but understand what the label is telling you.

Buying the right CBD oil

CBD Oil 750mg

For our purposes we are going to explain how to buy CBD oil because consumers are being misled or they do not understand the difference before they buy and then they are often unhappy with the results. Why are they unhappy? Were they looking for CBD and they bought a product that was labeled hemp oil and it was really hemp seed oil? If they were hoping for pain relief it is simply not going to happen with hemp seed oil. But the retailer can call it whatever they want, so this is why it is so important to know what you are buying. What the retailer can not mess with are the ingredients. But as you may be finding out, reading the ingredient list can be tricky. By law it has to state what is in the bottle. But this too is somewhat of a grey area.

Understanding what it states on the bottle

This is our 750mg CBD oil ingredient list. You may think it would read, CBD or cannabidiol, but that is not the whole story. It has 30 mg of phytocannabinoid rich hemp oil, (PCR). This means it has 30 mg of high CBD hemp oil per serving that is extracted from the whole plant and it contains all cannabinoids within that plant. Of that 30 mg of full spectrum oil, 25% is pure CBD. This is the best case scenario because you have all of the cannabinoids working together. If you have an oil with 99% CBD isolate it would be less effective.  In addition, we mix our full spectrum CBD oils with hemp seed oil because we believe it is important to have 100% of our oil come from the hemp plant. In addition, the omega fatty acids in the hemp seed help with the absorption of cannabinoids in your system.

Here is another example from another company, on its label you can see it contains 23 mg of hemp extract but they do not tell you how much of that is CBD. We will discuss what the CO2 means later. Secondly, make sure you know where your  hemp oil is extracted. Here this states aerial parts. We are assuming this is full spectrum because it is being extracted from the aerial or “all” parts of the plant. The richest extraction comes from the leaves and the flowers and only to a very minor extent the stalk. As for the seeds, there is no CBD, unless there is residual residue present. This is a common misconception, many people make claims that they are extracting CBD from the seeds and this is simply false.

Most hemp oils are mixed with another product such as hemp seed oil, coconut oil or even olive oil as seen here on the competitor’s label. All are safe to consume. You want to have a healthy fat as a mixer because it helps with the absorption of the cannabinoids.

Understand how the oil is extracted

There are several methods used to extract CBD rich oil. Some methods are better than others and may leave unsafe residues behind. Here are a few of the most common.

Ethanol: To perform this method of extraction, the plant must be soaked in a high grade grain alcohol, such as ethanol. In short, it is then heated and the alcohol evaporates. This method is used to create oil appropriate for vape pen cartridges and other products. But this extraction method destroys the plant waxes, which may have health benefits.

Olive oil. Extra virgin or otherwise, olive oil can also be used to extract cannabis oil. This method is considered both safe and inexpensive, however it is perishable and should be stored in a cool, dark place. The negative with this method is that it can not be concentrated. So although it does contain CBD you would have to consume large quantities to receive the medicinal benefits.

CO2 extraction: The supercritical (or subcritical) CO2 method is more advanced and requires more skill and more expensive equipment than most methods. It uses carbon dioxide under high pressure and extremely low temperatures to isolate, preserve, and maintain the purity of the oil.  The temperature and pressure in the chambers used causes the COcannabinoid solution to react and separate. As the cannabinoids separate, they are collected in different chambers. This method allows an extractor to separate the cannabinoids and ultimately introduce only those desired. This is how THC is removed. It is considered safe, potent, and free of chlorophyll. This is the extraction method used by CBD BioCare.

Is CBD by itself a good choice?

There is also a product called CBD isolate and this is CBD that is isolated from the plant and it does not contain any other cannabinoid from the hemp plant. It looks like a fine white powder. It is not synthetic or lab made, it is an all natural product. It normally has a purity level of 99% and is the most potent CBD product available if you are just looking for CBD. It can be added to an oil and sold as a CBD oil. However, many experts suggest CBD on its own does not provide the same medicinal properties many are seeking unless the other cannabinoids from the plant are also present. To consume, users can add it to food, beverages or even a full spectrum hemp CBD oil to increase the CBD concentration. Some people also bake with it or infuse it into other oils such as coconut or olive oil. It can also be consumed through vaping.

Now that you have a better idea about how CBD oils are made you can now make a more educated decision before purchasing. For best practices and the most potent CBD oil available discover our products at https://www.cbdbiocare.com/cbd-products/

Would you choose Froot Loops or CBD?

Would you choose Froot Loops or CBD?

It may sound like a silly question but would you choose Froot Loops or CBD? If you were purely going by availability you would have to choose the cereal because it is on every major grocery store shelf in the country. CBD on the other hand is still unknown by many. In fact, you may be reading this blog and wondering what is CBD? How about FDA approval? Once again you would have to go with Froot Loops, they have been approved by the FDA to be suitable for consumption. So perhaps the simple answer is Froot Loops, but let’s take a closer look.

The Irony

Although it seems like a ridiculous question to even put Froot Loops and CBD in the same category I hope you see after reading this blog the irony of it all. There is a cereal that is being marketed to children, sold by Kellogg’s Cereal company by the millions. It is packed full of ingredients that are toxic, deadly and known to be harmful, yet this cereal is FDA approved and accepted by most Americans. It will most definitely cause a sugar high. On the flip side, you have the cannabis hemp plant that is not a drug, cannot cause a high, not even a sugar high and the government is fighting its existence. It is legal in all 50 states according to the 2014 Farm Bill, but it is still not widely accepted and easily sold in the USA. In fact, this plant is proving to have amazing medicinal properties. Yet, the government is not supporting many clinical trials to test and further prove its benefits.

Taking a closer look at the ingredients

Froot Loops

Yes, it’s true Fruit Loops are available in most grocery stores and kids love the fun colors and sweet flavor. But when you take a closer look, the ingredients are a bit frightening. First of all, the number one ingredient is sugar, that means it has more sugar than anything else. It has 12 grams in just 1/2 cup and an average bowl of cereal is a cup and a half of cereal so that’s 9 teaspoons of sugar! Secondly, it’s packed with artificial food dye’s. These dyes can be found in practically everything we eat from cereal to sports drinks. But these dyes, although approved by the FDA are toxic. They are made from chemicals that come from petroleum, which is the same chemicals that make up gasoline and even tar. If that’s not scary enough these dyes have been linked to brain cancer, nerve-deterioration and hyperactivity to name a few. Food dyes are considered bad enough to be banned in more than five countries including France and the United Kingdom. It also has BHT or butyl hydroxytoluene which is a synthetic compound which basically prevents fats in food from becoming rancid. According to the European Food Safety Authority, BHT has been shown to cause lung and liver tumors, developmental effects, and negatively impact the thyroid in animal studies. It is banned in most European countries and Japan. There are many other ingredients that should cause us to ask questions, but yet these are all FDA approved ingredients and legal in the United States. So are you still voting for the Froot Loops?

Cannabidiol (CBD)

Now let’s take a closer look at CBD, which is not FDA approved. Of course it might not be as colorful and you certainly don’t want to eat it with a spoon and milk first thing in the morning. But let’s break it down anyways. CBD is an extract from cannabis, a plant that has grown on this planet naturally for thousands of years. It is even referenced in the bible. The cannabis plant contains more than 80 cannabinoids or plant molecules in which experts agree have medicinal properties. The two most dominant cannabinoids are THC or tetrahydrocannbinol and cannabidiol or CBD. Due to the wants   and desires of man, the cannabis plant has been modified to create the perfect plant. For those who wanted to get “high” they wanted strains that were high in THC. Although cannabis had been used as a medicine and natural remedy for centuries, mans desires for the perfect “high” changed the marketplace. This plant now became known as a drug and was made illegal in every state in the nation. Massive campaigns and millions of dollars had law abiding citizens convinced it could be nothing more than a drug and it needed to be treated as such. CBD on the other hand is not a drug and has no intoxicating effects, but yet in the eyes of most, cannabis was cannabis.

A little girl named Charlotte gave a face to CBD

Then there was a little girl named Charlotte Figi who had a disease that caused her to have approximately 300 seizures a week. It was killing her! Her body was suffering and her parents were desperate. They heard about medicinal marijuana but they lived in a state where it was not legal. Plus they did not want their daughter to be drugged by THC. That is when they heard of cannabis that has very low levels of THC and high levels of CBD. They tried oil from this high CBD cannabis and it helped little Charlotte when nothing else could. To their surprise, not only did it not cause her to get high but it has given her a life. Her story attracted the attention of thousands seeking similar relief. This high quality strain of cannabis that had little THC and high CBD is called hemp. When CBD is extracted from hemp it is legal in all 50 states. Just like Charlotte it is helping thousands of people around the world with a multitude of conditions.

The Choice is Clear

When you compare the facts, the choice is clear. I would much rather give my family CBD supplements rather than a bowl of Froot Loops. Without a shadow of a doubt one is natural, proven to have health benefits and helpful to our bodies. On the contrary, the cereal is packed full of toxic ingredients masked by FDA approval and societies acceptance. Know the facts and see CBD for what it is, a plant that can help people, not a toxic ingredient or drug. So what would you choose Froot Loops or CBD?

CBD and Veterans with PTSD

CBD and Veterans with PTSD

CBD and Veterans with PTSD

CBD helps veterans with CBDCBD and veterans with PTSD, or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is currently being studied due to its calming effects on the mind and body. Many people who deal with stress and anxiety are turning to this natural extract from cannabis as an alternative option to commercial drugs.  CBD or cannabidiol, unlike it’s cousin THC does not make you high. It has no psychoactive properties. This means CBD oil is safe even when taken in high doses. It has no drug interference and can not be overdosed.

CBD and possible medical benefits

Although most studies with CBD are from animals, many users are providing their own testimonies. Plus, some in the medical community are attributing many health benefits to CBD to include, however it is important to note that cannabidiol is not FDA approved.:

  • Antiemetic / reduces vomiting and nausea
  • Anticonvulsant-suppresses seizures
  • Anti-inflammatory-helps reduce inflammation and fight inflammation disorders
  • Antipsychotic-effective in dealing with psychosis disorders
  • Antioxidant-helps in dealing with neurodegenerative disorders
  • Antidepressant-effective in dealing with depression and anxiety disorders

PTSD and Veterans

Research indicates that more than 540,000 veterans suffer from PTSD, which is a disorder that stems from experiencing a traumatic or life threatening event. These symptoms include flashbacks, nightmares, severe anxiety, depression and confusion. Often many of those who suffer do not seek medical attention. The true number of veterans who suffer from PTSD is unknown. But according to the US government, based on those who seek treatment, the number of veterans with PTSD varies according to combat periods. Here are some examples.

  • Vietnam War: 30%
  • Gulf War: 12%
  • Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom: 11-20%

How CBD may help according to science

Currently there are no commercial drugs on the market specialized and proven to be effective in treating PTSD. However, research is slowly but surely paving the way for cannabis as a possible alternative. In the early 90’s scientist discovered humans have what is called an endocannabinoid system. This system is described as a group of endogenous cannabinoid receptors located throughout the body. This system is involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain sensation, mood and memory.

One study suggests that people with PTSD have lower levels of anandamide which is a cannabinoid compound. Scientists state that those with low serum levels of anandamide have an endocannabinoid deficiency. This means that their bodies stop producing enough endocannabinoids to fill CB1 receptor sites in the body. This deficiency can trigger symptoms such as anxiety. This is where the cannabinoids found in cannabis, such as CBD may play a role, because it is believed that CBD attaches itself to CB1 receptors.

CBD usage

CBD can be taken in various forms, but perhaps the most common is in oil form. This CBD oil is placed under the tongue and absorbs quickly into the blood stream. Many people who use CBD oil report a calming effect. It is important to make sure you know where this CBD oil comes from because not all CBD is created equal.

You want to make sure your CBD is full spectrum so you have a better chance of finding success. This is because full spectrum means you receive all of the cannabinoids in the plant, not just CBD. This entourage effect is considered more beneficial. At CBD BioCare, we offer full spectrum CBD oil without THC so no one can receive a high from using our products. Plus, our CBD is extracted from industrial hemp, or high CBD cannabis, making it legal in all 50 states and more than 40 countries.

In closing, the damage caused by PTSD cannot be solved through any medication alone.  Please consult your physician and consider adding CBD to your health regimen.

CBD and hot flashes

CBD and hot flashes

CBD and Hot Flashes

We are receiving reports from middle aged women using our CBD oil who are reporting that CBD is helping with their hot flashes. Okay I am very familiar with this topic because, let’s just say I can relate. When these women shared their stories with me I thought, why not? CBD seems to be used for so many other conditions, why not menopause? I heard one doctor state that when he has tried everything and nothing seems to work he tells his patients about CBD oil and low and behold many are finding success in one way or another. Makes you wonder why many physicians don’t turn to CBD first?

What is a hot flash?

CBD fights hot flashesI can tell you that it’s awful! A hot flash is a temporary burst of heat that makes you feel like you want to hurt someone in that moment. To protect those I love, I state that I am having a moment and I walk away to protect them. Thank you God that it doesn’t last long or I think I would truly go insane. So you can imagine how happy I was to hear from women using our oil that CBD works for hot flashes. Then I reflected on my own experiences. I take CBD three to four times a week in the evening to help me have a more restful night of sleep. I also take it for overall well being. Is it a coincidence that I too have had fewer hot flashes? I think not!

Although my experience, as well as the experiences of the ladies using our products is far from scientific and could not be classified as a clinical trial, I think there is something to it. I also do not think it is the placebo effect, which is the belief that a treatment worked without any scientific backing. No, in all cases these women were taking oil for completely different reasons such as pain, stress, etc. They all just happen to realize that not only was CBD helping them in those areas but that CBD works for hot flashes too!

What doctor’s say about hot flashes

A hot flash, according to doctors is the most common symptom of menopause and more than two thirds of women experience them. For those of you who have not experienced them, stop what you are doing right now and thank God! It is a quick feeling of heat that is normally felt in the upper body and very commonly in the face. It can cause redness and sweating. Think internal microwave. Some also experience a rapid heart rate or chills. Experts are not really sure why women get them but they believe it may have something to do with a change in circulation. Hot flashes happen when the blood vessels near the skins surface dilate to cool the women’s body. When they happen at night they are often called night sweats and it makes it more difficult to sleep. Some women only experience these hot flashes for a period of time while their bodies go through “the change.” Others will experience these hot flashes more infrequently over time and others have them for the rest of their lives. Yes, time to have a moment of silence for these poor souls.

How does cannabis help menopause?

Hot flashes are again the most common complaint associated with menopause but there is a lot more going on behind the scenes. A women’s hormones are decreasing, which can cause a number of side effects including bone loss. For these reasons doctors are quick to prescribe hormone replacement therapy, (HRT). But many women are not candidates because it increases their risk of heart attacks, heart disease, blood clots, gallstones, breast cancer and even Alzheimer’s disease.

A decrease in bone loss is one of the main reasons physicians prescribe primarily estrogen replacement therapy. But here is the good news, our all natural friend CBD has proven to be an alternative for stopping bone loss. It has actually also proven to help with bone regrowth, but we’ll save that topic for another day. Some researchers are claiming that it might even be able to prevent osteoporosis after menopause. if you believe hormone replacement drugs are good for you then you may also want to take CBD to possibly reduce your risk of breast cancer associated with it. CBD has been shown to kill breast cancer cells while avoiding healthy cells in the body. Cannabis does boost serotonin which can lower body temperature and this may be why CBD works for hot flashes.

Women who can not or choose not to take hormone replacement medication are often prescribed non hormonal prescription drugs such as Prozac, Effexor and Gabapentin. CBD according to at least one source can possibly be used to replace these drugs. Here’ s more good news. CBD has no side effects and has no drug interactions and you can not overdose on it.

Cannabis may kill cancer cells

CBD oil

CBD BioCare is dedicated to educating people about the benefits of CBD.

Cannabis may kill cancer cells

In this video, you will hear from a scientist in Madrid, Spain who claims cannabis may kill cancer cells. Dr. Christina Sanchez states that when cancer cells are treated with THC, the main psychoactive compound in cannabis, these diseased cells die. First this study was conducted on animals with brain and breast cancer. The result showed that once these cancer cells were exposed to THC they committed suicide. This is remarkable evidence because chemotherapy, the most common cancer treatment kills all cells, not just those with cancer. She said CBD, the second most prominent cannabinoid next to THC, also shows promise killing off cancer cells but Dr. Sanchez states that CBD and THC work best together when it comes to fighting cancer.

Scientist are learning more and more about the benefits of CBD and the more than 80 cannabinoids that exist within the cannabis plant. As humans we have an endocannabinoid system and therefore our bodies work well with these cannabinoids. The United States, due to the legality associated with cannabis have not invested in much research in terms of cannabinoids. However, the benefits and clinical trials around the world are showing so much promise that this plant is getting harder to ignore. Please watch the video below and provide your feedback in the comments section.

At CBD BioCare we are passionate about spreading success stories like these that provide scientific data and research to support the benefits of CBD. To learn more visit our page about CBD oil.

CBD Buyer Beware

CBD Buyer Beware

CBD buyer beware

CBD Buyer Beware because not all CBD is Equal

As one of the founders of CBD BioCare, I am immersed in speaking about the benefits of full spectrum CBD daily. When we started building this company we quickly realized what a crazy environment it was. It is not easy being out in front!! But now, after working with people all over the world who are searching for answers and solutions, I have realized that it’s a real jungle out there. It is important for the CBD buyer to beware because not all CBD is equal. There is confusing, conflicting, sometimes unbelievable information online. We are working everyday to immerse ourselves into the market to bring accurate, verifiable information to people. The opportunity to educate is endless. This market is just starting and no one knows the length and breadth of its trajectory. We know that our products are changing lives. We get the blessing of hearing the stories everyday!

CBD Buying Tips

I do have some basic CBD buying tips that I want to share to try and help people navigate this crazy landscape of cannabis, specifically with how it pertains to one of its cannabinoids, CBD. You would not believe the things that I have seen companies doing in this business. It does not surprise me due to the overwhelming market explosion and the opportunities that come along with it. It simply brings out the bottom feeders. Those that care nothing about their patients/customers and are in this business to make the most of a quick buck. It costs a lot to do the right thing in any business. Value is related to quality of product and operation at a fair price; cheap is a function of cutting the dollar. We are and have been focused on quality of product first and foremost and quality of process for our customers and affiliates. So here are some things to watch out for. Some “red flags”.

Things to look for when selecting a CBD product provider:

No Merchant Account

Do not use a company that does not have a merchant account. Meaning, stay away from companies that cannot run your credit card. There are great protections the consumer enjoys when purchasing through their credit card. Do not do business from anyone that would deny you those protections. Furthermore, you should be able to conduct your transaction with a credit card online through a secure gateway. If you are suggested to conduct your transaction by any other means, I would question it. There is nothing wrong with PayPal as a payment option, but you should question the company if it is the only option. The reality is that accepting credit cards does not make a company trustworthy but it does indicate that at least one bank feels that the company is legitimate enough to offer the credit needed to obtain a merchant account. If a company is legitimate, they will be able to offer you the ability to purchase with your credit card. There is no reason to compromise security in your quest for relief.

Question the product

I have seen some crazy things in chat rooms and online. Please do not purchase any products made on an individual’s stove in the kitchen. All CBD is definitely not equal. I know that there is a ton of information out there that is enough to frustrate anyone, so I will keep it simple. Full Spectrum – Organically grown – Non-GMO- 3rd Party Tested – FDA Registered manufacturing facility. These traits are all necessary to get the full results that are available from CBD. It would certainly be a lot cheaper to buy a 50 gallon drum off a ship at the harbor in California. That is what many people are doing. We have seen product being sold in the marketplace and no one in America knows what is in it. Crazy!!  Although we may be few, there are companies like mine, that have gone about it the “right” way. You just need to know what to look for. There is no reason to compromise product safety standards in your quest for relief.

Watch for gimmicks

Some examples I have seen are automatic enrollment into a recurring order program. Listen, auto shipping a product that you love and don’t want to run out of is great. We offer that. But, if you are baited and switched into it….RUN. I have also seen programs that require you join and become a member. This is done to establish a recurring payment from you to them. They typically over promise and under perform to their claim. It is nothing more than an alternate revenue stream and something I would stay away from. You cannot convince me that the wellness of the patient is paramount in these types of programs.

Try it for yourself

You will hear testimonies from people that have used some form of oil and indicate that they did not get any results. There are a number of reasons that someone would not glean results from CBD. Firstly, roughly 10% of people will not get much from CBD. Simply put, we can expect that 1 in 10 will not get favorable results. The reason, however that most do not experience results is the product they are using. The source and quality of the product are paramount when achieving results. Do not take anyone’s word for what CBD can do for you. Try it!!! As long as you source a reputable product you cannot get hurt.

My hope is that some of the tips will help guide you in your search for relief. I will continue to post letters like this to disclose what we are finding in the marketplace. We wish you all the best of luck in finding your solution. We are passionate about getting the word helping you learn more about his amazing plant!

In honor of Mother’s Day

I was thinking about my favorite plant extract, CBD. It is truly the mother of all cannabinoids. Just like many of the women and mom’s in our lives, this molecule works tirelessly, always giving 100% and often receives little recognition for its efforts. But of course that is okay because she doesn’t do it for the praise, but for the love of her children. The parallelism to CBD is this….CBD is amazing, and CBD’s medicinal properties are high when combined with its fellow cannabinoids, yet it is still unrecognized by many for all of its amazing, God given attributes.

So on this Mother’s Day, 2017 I want to recognize this plant extract for it’s power, effectiveness, simplicity and humbleness. When people take full spectrum CBD they experience results. We hear about people on a daily basis that are using CBD to combat all sorts of medical issues from stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, Parkinson’s and the list goes on and on. We offer CBD oil in three concentrations, 250mg, 500 mg and 750mg. Each dropper, also known as tincture, contains one dose. In the 250 mg bottle that is 10 mg of CBD per serving, 500 mg bottle offers 20 mg of CBD per serving and the 750mg bottle has 30mg CBD per serving. We encourage people to try it, you can increase or decrease the amount based on the results you are seeking. In addition, we offer anti-aging skincare products with 6mg of CBD and a pain balm with 50mg of CBD.

Yes, we are in the business of making a profit but that was not our motivation to join this industry. We have been exploring products and opportunities for years but none, until now matched our desire to help people. There are lots of amazing products on the market, but we wanted to be part of something greater. When you mention CBD to most people they are not sure what it is. That was me too last year. But once I researched it, I fell in love with what it was doing for people. It was truly saving and bettering lives. CBD is nothing new to other places around the world like Israel. It has been helping people there for years. We wanted to be part of a movement to help spread the word about how this little known extract could help people safely.

Drug Abuse is Epidemic

Drug abuse in our country is epidemic, so if there is a natural product that has no drug interactions, can not hurt you and could never cause you to overdose, isn’t it worth exploring? My prayer for this Sunday where we are honoring mother’s around the globe, that we also pay tribute to the mother of all cannabinoids, CBD. Just like the moms in our lives, it will change and better lives of the people it serves.
