Ten years ago my siblings and I lost our dear mother to complications of her 16 year battle with Parkinson’s Disease, despite the care and treatment by top notch neurologists at NYC’s Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. Perhaps 6 months prions to her death, one of her neurologists suggested that she consider traveling to a state where medicinal cannabis was legal because research had shown some compelling benefits in treating PD. Sadly for us, Mother refused. So we don’t know if we may have had a bit more time with. Thereafter, I researched medical cannabis and came across CBD and vowed to make it part of my life when the opportunity arose.
